When I am walking in the snow, I am often thinking of all of the flower bulbs I planted in the fall. I envision them as stirring beneath the frozen earth, and growing roots, in preparation for a gran appearance on the early Spring stage. Turn to look out the eastern window

Long icicles form a glimmering curtain

tall evergreen trees

planted during the succession

of my long-life sequence.
